My Dog; My Joy

IMG_9341 (2)

She snuggles me,
and kisses sweet,
my little dog,
who loves a treat,

And while I sit,
in fear or doubt,
she loves away
the slightest pout;

And belly-up,
legs akimbo,
she wags her tail,
all paws in limbo…

My little joy,
my cocoa muffin,
my sweetest girl,
so full of lovin’

What would I do,
without you here,
to bring me joy,
my little dear?
